From the intricate Atlantic shoreline to the western mountains and Mount Katahdin, Maine bears the marks of a glaciated landscape. Because Maine is known for its rugged natural beauty, visitors to the state sail the coast (there are about 3500 islands along the shoreline), canoe the waterways through the largest undeveloped land east of the Mississippi, and hike the northenmost reaches of the famous Appalachian Trail.
All of our state wall maps display an incredible amount of detail, from cities, highways, and mountain ranges, to valleys, rivers, and small towns. Maine map elevations are represented in color, and this, in combination with our relief shading technique, gives the map a lush, 3-dimensional look.
